long time...

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged.

snow?

We had the biggest, most beautiful snow flakes today. It even stuck to the ground.

Tonight Amelia put her babies to bed in her bed and then when it was time to pray, she had her baby pray. Here she is holding her baby's hands together so she can pray, and of course the baby said, "Thank you for Meena!"
Here are all three girls in bed together. I wonder if they will all stay in bed until her lights come on in the morning...

too much to handle?

This morning I picked up a very large dead fly and was on my way to the garbage when the phone rang. Micah said, "I'll get it." I said, "No, I'll get it honey." Micah said, "But Mom, you don't have to handle two things at once."

A week or so ago I had made mac'n cheese for lunch and later that day Micah was looking into the sink where some noodles were left and said, "Mom, there's some cheese in the sink... er... I mean there's mackin in the sink."

Sleeping in...

What is that? Most people do that on the weekends. Apparently, at our house, weekend means get up even earlier. So rather than our usual 5:45 "Mom? Can I play in my room," we get the 5:22 "Amelia's crying! She's coming up the stairs..." Those were our weekend mornings.

Happy Birthday, Amelia!

The cutest ladybug cake ever... Amelia swinging
Opening her new blocks
Taking lessons on blowing bubbles from cousin Justin... and wearing her cute new shoes that Auntie Sarah sent from Spokane for her birthday.
The wind blew out her candles before she had a chance to, but she didn't know the difference.
Happy birthday, my sweet girl. I can't believe you're 2 already. God is going to use you in incredible ways during your life. I can't wait to see what he does with that strong will of yours. :)

The Cruise...

is my new "happy place."

Ryan and I went on a cruise to the mexican riviera over spring break and it was amazing! We went with his parents, his brother and sister in-law, his sister and her friend. We had a blast.

The Dawn Princess
Andy and Jenelle had the room next to us and Kristen had the room next to them. Here she is on her balcony.
I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of updating my blog when we got back, so that's why it has taken me a week. Anyway, that was our amazing fabulous spring break. I'm glad we had fun because it will be another 10 years before we can afford it again.
