Pictures are faster than words

Wow! I have really been slacking on this blogging thing. Life has been fairly normal so I'll share a few pictures over the last few weeks.

We spend our Monday mornings with my friends Alison and Rebekah. Alison has an amazing amount of Geo Tracks and the boys love to put the trains together. Actually... the moms put the trains together and the boys drive the trains on the track.

On Saturday we removed a few birch trees from our yard with the help of Ryan's parents, Ryan's uncle and aunt, and my dad. Here is my dad at the top of the ladder tying a rope to the tree before we cut it down.

still confused

This morning Micah saw my stretch marks and started asking his usual questions, only this time it started like this, "Mom? When I was in your tummy and Amelia was in Dad's tummy..." I don't know how many times we talk about this, but he doesn't seem to get it. "Micah, daddys don't have babies in their tummies, only mommys." He replied, "Well, when I get bigger, I'm going to have a baby in my tummy." At least he didn't bring up the whole... "I want to be a mommy" conversation. :)

The consensus is in...

She's just stubborn, not stupid. We were at Taco bell yesterday having some lunch and Amelia was eating cinnamon twists. When she was all out she used her sign for "more." Clear as day. I'm not looking forward to dealing with the stubbornness.
